This is a vintage 1980s era wraparound skirt that was made in India of pure silk.  The skirt is mostly printed with a paisley pattern in tones of pink, green, blue, ochre gold and white against a purple background with one area on the inner lining and at the bottom printed with an ornate floral pattern in the same colour tones.  There is a solid magenta pink panel along the hemline in one area.  The waistband has a slit in it through which the ties go through so that you can adjust waist size - this will fit a large range of sizes.  The skirt is lined with a second layer of printed silk and the fabric is light and translucent

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this should fit a medium to large size - please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the skirt into consideration:

Waist:  24” around out to about 40” around (maximum) - this depends on the adjustment of the straps and the overlap of the wrap

Hips:  Full, meant to fall loosely

Overall length: about 42", measured flat

Condition:  This skirt is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear or staining - looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
